The Wyoming Medicaid PT rate on 97112
Wyoming's ranked PT figure is code 97112, at $28.75 per 15-minute unit with no modifier, effective July 1, 2026. Four units make $115.00 an hour. Practices billing code 97110 for therapeutic exercise should check that code's rate on the Wyoming Medicaid rates hub too.
A top-ten PT rate gives a Wyoming clinic room to absorb scheduling gaps, travel time and cancellations, the unbilled hours that decide whether a Medicaid caseload pays its way. The states above Wyoming are led by Alaska, New Mexico and Montana, with Texas and North Dakota completing the top five.

Occupational therapy on code 97530 pays $31.08 per unit, or $124.32 an hour, 16th of 48. The 97161 PT evaluation pays $87.91 and the OT evaluation on 97165 pays $90.24. All of these carry the July 1, 2026 effective date.
The evaluations are less elevated than PT treatment, between 6.6% and 9.5% above median, but none falls below it. For a clinic with steady intake, that means new-patient visits carry their share of the revenue.
Speech therapy in Wyoming: a per-visit rate
Wyoming publishes speech treatment on code 92507 at $42.86 per visit, effective September 1, 2025. Because it is a per-visit figure, it is not part of the national speech ranking, whose median is $61.64 per published unit. A per-visit rate is simple to model: each speech visit pays the same amount regardless of session length.
The speech-language evaluation on 92522 pays $97.37, 17th of 44 states and 6.6% above the national median of $91.32.
Wyoming speech-language pathologists earn a median of $39.44 an hour, well below the US median of $47.05. Against a per-visit rate, the length of each session decides whether a visit covers the therapist's time, so session planning matters more for Wyoming speech practices than the rate alone suggests.
Therapist wages and margins in Wyoming
Federal occupational data for May 2025 gives these Wyoming median hourly wages, with US medians in parentheses:

Coverage rules and how Wyoming Medicaid pays therapy
The Wyoming schedule attaches one prior authorization rule each to 92507 and 92508. The speech evaluation codes 92521 and 92522 carry none, and neither do the revenue codes 0429, 0434, 0439 and 0449 listed for therapy. No therapy code has a published unit limit.

CMS approved Wyoming SPA WY-26-0007-A on October 1, 2026, with a July 1, 2026 effective date. That date matches the effective date on Wyoming's current PT, OT and evaluation rates, so practices should confirm that claims for dates of service from July 1 forward priced at the current schedule.
